Come along to training even if you aren't going to grade to help others or get a head start before Decembers grading. 


Grading- Saturday, August 7th, 2010

We have an upcoming grading for beginners, P1's & P2's. We will be covering curriculum material in the next few weeks along with some "free time" classes so you can work on what you need to.


7th August, 2010 : 10:45am- 12:30am

The cost of the grading will be $45 and remember that
you must be an I.K.M.F. member in order to grade. For those of you who
have paid your membership, passports are on the way, and you will
receiving them after the grading.

There is no class on Saturday 15th May due to the National Krav Maga Training Camp. Most of our students and any other instructors that could take the class will be at the camp training. Classes resume as normal on Monday.


Grading- Saturday, May 8th, 2010

The grading this coming weekend will be starting at the regular class time.
Because of this there will be no regular class:-

   * All grades: 10:45am- 12:30am

The cost of the grading will be $45 and remember that

6th National Krav Maga Training Camp - Sydney

This camp is designed for both beginners to advanced students in Krav Maga. There will be separate sessions for groups depending on ability and need.

Cost

$320

This includes includes 2 night’s accommodation, all meals, training t-shirt and Krav Maga training. (A $90 non refundable deposit needs to be paid by 10th April to secure your spot). We have limited spaces on the camp on a first in, first served basis.

Note: - A transfer bus from Sydney airport will be available for those students travelling from interstate.  Email for details.

Christmas Break

Last class of the year will be Saturday 19th December and we will be resuming on Monday 18th January. Anyone purchasing a monthly pass from now on will get and extra month added to take this break into account.

Kettlebell Workshop 2

Saturday, December 19th 12:30pm- 2:30pm

In this workshop you will learn the basic family of exercises and some of their variations. After the workshop you can keep your Kettlebell for further home training.



If you attended Kettlebell Workshop 1 and wish to practice your skills or add another or heavier Kettlebell to your collection or just want to do the workouts again discounted rates apply.

and revise what you are being graded on. We are having two extra
classes focussing only on grading requirements on Thursday nights
3rd &10th December at the regular time (6:45-7:45 ). So if you are not
sure what is in your grading then these extra classes focusing on the
grading syllabus will be of use to you.

Grading

Saturday, December 12th 10:00am

We have a grading coming up to be held at our usual training location.
It will be on Saturday the 12th of December starting at 10:00am.

It is going to be an all in grading meaning that you are assessed to the
level you are now including earlier levels so make sure you review your
earlier material.

Payments for Passports & Grading must be received by 2nd of December.

The long awaited Kettlebell workshop is coming up and will be run in two parts:-

Part One- Saturday 19th September 12:30pm- 1:30pm

                                          Part Two- Saturday 26th September 12:30pm- 1:30pm

Due to an upcoming instructor accreditation update there will be no instructors available to run two classes next week. So there will be no class on Saturday 22nd & Monday 24th August. Most of you would probably appreciate a quick break after last Saturday's grading. Classes will be back to normal on Wednesday 26th August with some exciting changes starting in September/ October, including the long awaited Kettlebell conditioning workshops.

Well done everyone in yesterdays grading. All of you have been working very hard for this examination and everyone performed exceptionally well. I am sure everyone will now set their next goal being our last grading of the year in December.

Zeev Cohen from Israel, an Expert Level Instructor with the IKMF Global Instructor Team and one of the most senior instructors is coming to Parramatta to run a workshop. Zeev has been teaching since 1984 and is very excited to do his first trip to Australia for this workshop.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to train in Krav Maga with a Krav
Maga Great!

Topics include:

* How to deal with common attacks including weapons.
* Defending yourself in confined spaces, crowded areas and from different positions.
* Simultaneous defending and countering
* Choke defences, dealing with headlocks, multiple attackers

* ... and MORE!!!

This workshop will be run at Parramatta Town Hall on July 15th 2009. The
workshop runs from 7pm till 10pm and you will need to be there at 6:30pm to sign on.

Queens Birthday- There will be no class on Monday the 8th of June. Classes resume on Wednesday 10th of June.

Anzac Day- There will be no class on Saturday 25th of April because of Anzac Day.

The following Saturday there will also be no class at Epping but an opportunity has become available to attend part of the 2009 National Krav Maga Camp. There is the Grade Level workshops to be held on Saturday 2nd May from 9am to 12 noon. This workshop will allow students to train on their Grade levels in preparation for future gradings.

The workshop also allows beginner students, or those who have limited exposure to Krav Maga, the chance to have an introduction to the system.

As this is the National camp, you will have the opportunity to train with other students and Instructors from around Australia.

Cost of the 3 hour workshop will be $55. Payment needs to be made by Wednesday 29th April. (Details of payment will be given on registration)
